IMPORTANT NOTE: We are hosting two simultaneous workshops: one in English and one in Spanish. Workshops are on the same days and contain the same content, but participants will only sign up for ONE option.

ENGLISH: Experience Inquiry with Kimberly Mitchell

Demystifying Inquiry-based Teaching
Inquiry practices sound good in theory, but what do they look like in practice? Using the five key inquiry strategies from Kimberly Mitchell’s book, Experience Inquiry (translated into Spanish by Paola Gagliardo), participants will experience inquiry themselves through a set of practical, all ages routines. This workshop is designed for both the novice and expert inquiry practitioner.

Esta enfoque suena bien en teoría pero, ¿cómo se ve realmente en la práctica? Conocer y utilizar las cinco estrategias clave presentadas en el libro La experiencia de la indagación de Kimberly Mitchell (traducido al español por Paola Gagliardo) sumergirá a los participantes en la experiencia de la indagación a través de un conjunto de rutinas prácticas dirigidas a todas las edades. Este taller está dirigido a principiantes y a expertos.

You will choose either the English or Spanish workshop at registration. Group discounts are for 3 or more participants from the same school or organization. However, you can split between the English and Spanish workshops (for example, you can have 2 people attend the English workshop and 2 people attend the Spanish workshop and still receive the discount as a group).
